Customer Reviews
Excellent shoe, but maybe runs a little small
The shoes are well made and have a sturdy sole that provides good support without being hard on the sole of my foot. If I had it to do over again, I would buy size 11 instead of 10.5. All my other shoes (not really that many, only four) are size 10.5 and they fit fine. This Nike shoe seems just a touch shorter than my other shoes, though not too short that I can't reasonably wear them.
LIke walking bearfoot on a memory foam pad - Incredibly comfortable and oversized as advertised. Great Product!!!
Sketchers advertises these as over-sized, and that is accurate. I wear a 12W shoe with Nike, Reebok, Timberland, Florsheim, and most everything else I have worn for 30 years (minus cowboy boots). The Sketcher's Melvin, I wear an 11 medium, that fit perfectly (glad I tried them on at the store first). They are the most comfortable shoes I think I have ever owned. This is my 2nd pair of the Melvins (canvas); I have rotated these with the taupe in the same model all season. They are holding up much better than expected, and still just as comfortable as the day I bough them. The Melvins are identical in size, fit, and memory foam insole, to the Sketcher's Gains (leather loafers); which are a great shoe for casual dress and the office. Between the Melvins and the Gains, my feet haven't felt this good in years. I only hope Sketchers comes out with a hiking boot with this exact combination of size, fit, and insole by the time fall hits. If they read the reviews, I will take a pair in black leather and a canvas pair.
New Generation GT2000 still works for a XXL guy with Plantar Fasc. who needs a stability shoe.
I was suffering from Plantar Fasciitis and went to a running shoe store to get fitted back in 2014. They gave me some options for a stability show and these felt the best and looked the best. I bought these new generation ones hoping the design had not changed much. No plantar fasciitis so they still work for me. I typically wear a 12 in addidas and 13 in nike, so I got a 12.5 but they are just a little snug in the toe box for me...after i broke them in at the house for a couple of days, they fit fine. Being a XXL guy, surely my feet have widened over the years as the weight has increased but the standard width still seems to work for me. Got these on Prime day 2016 for 85 dollar range...noticed they went back up to 120 after the sale. Snagged up two pairs while on sale as these rarely make it to less than 90 although I got the blue Mens Cancer version at the 65 range. Running store people told me that everyday wear and being a 250lb guy the shoes should last no more than 6 months in terms of padding and helping with the fasciitis. I wear these only on Fridays and on weekend hiking/walks or when I coach Football my kids flag football. That being said, wore my last pair for a year. The soles started wearing out only a little but the kicker was the football stadium turf/track must have been so hot, that apparently some pieces of the sole came off and stuck to the turf/track without me noticing. The sole is divided into like 5 pieces with the channel running through the middle. It got too funky to walk in after, so I got these. Being a TN Vol fan, the colors were perfect for me with the orange sole.
Nice low drop shoe
A nice shoe from a brand that I normally do not consider. I normally wear a 12, but I did have to upsize to a 12.5 to get the same feel / space that I like to have in the toe box. Some may prefer a more snug fit, but for me, a half size up was the way to go. The material of the shoe is stiffer / harder than a Nike Free Run 3.0 V2, but that is probably because this is a trail running shoe versus a road running shoe like the Free Run. To me, the stiffer material gives the feeling of a little bit more protection to my foot.
I want the 5.0 2014 leather sneaker boots back
Comfort, durable Nike boot! Could have more cushion and better form like the 5.0 from 2014. Nothing compares to those.Run large to size. Flexible and warm as promised.
Purchased 3 times now
My fiance works at a gym always on his feet. I originally bought these at Nike and now every time he needs a new pair I get them on amazon. He loves them and honestly wish they came in womens!
Five Stars
Nike finally got a crossfit shoe right!
Four Stars
I wear size 10 in most brands including Nike. This shoe was a half size too small.
Five Stars
Very comfortable shoe. Comparable to the Nike 5.0's. Trying these out to see if they hold up longer.
Prince Racquetball Shoes
These are the best racquetball shoes I have ever owned in 41 years. Nike, Adidas, etc. do not compare. My foot has never fit well into a Nike, but the Prince shoes are perfect. Just a little wider to accommodatefeet like mine, they fit like a glove.
Nike sneakers
Great fit! And very comfortable
Best CrossFit or cross training shoe out there
Nike Metcons are my go to shoe for training. Best CrossFit or cross training shoe out there.
Order half size up
I usually wear size 8 basically from any other manufacturer, including Adidas, Nike, dress shoes etc (I have way too many shoes). This is my third pair that I got from Fila Disruptors and had to go with 8.5...
Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn I bought these and ...
Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn I bought these and they have helped with me not having as bad pain in my feet after walking for a while. I walked the Las Vegas strip and I could tell a world of difference between these shoes and Nike Shocks, Puma, Reebok, and New Balance
Gotta love Air Max
Very comfortable and a great fit. These runners are not water resistant in any fashion so avoid puddles! However despite this they are warm without being hot ..
