New Balance Men's MX623 Cross-Training Shoe, Black, 10.5
My husband had both of his knees replaced in 2008 with metal knees. His surgeon told him he had to wear good quality shoes and insisted on looking at his tennis shoes (couldn't use shoes that had air in the soles) to be sure he had good shoes. We had just purchased my husband's New Balance shoes, and because his surgeon said he had the best shoes for his knees, we buy new pairs of New Balance shoes every year from Amazon.com. Amazon has made it easier for my husband to shop, and we always get great service.
New Balance Minimus 20 V7 Cross Trainer
The Minimus is a very light cross trainer. I use it while training in a light workout gym scenario. For heavier lifting I would be required to use a more substantial shoe, but for my present situation, it is perfect. I do not recommend it for power lifting etc.
New Balance 623
This is my fourth pair of New Balance 623s. They look really sharp, fit well, and last a long time.

These shoes fit perfectly. I've been wearing NB 608's for years, but never tried the new rating system with the shoes. I'm very satisfied with the 5v version.
Another Great MX600 Series shoe by New Balance
Another great MX600 series shoe from New Balance. I wear a pair of these everyday for work. This model has a great Slip Resistant sole. It is the best anti-slip sole I have seen in the MX600 series. I have worn every MX600 series shoe that New Balance has made and this is definitely the best sole for slippery surfaces.

Have New Balance Sneaker sizes changed?
I have been wearing New Balance sneakers for many years. I ordered the same size I had previously (11 U.S. 4E), but these new sneakers feel a little wider than last time, but not too much so. New Balance sneaker sizes are narrower, so I need their wider version.
New Balance Makes Great Shoes
I have very wide feet and New Balances makes great shoes that are comfortable. The cross-training shoes last me 1 to 2 years. I've owned at least 5 pairs over the years, and I highly recommend these if you need wide shoes.
New Balances ALWAYS fit...
I wear orthotics, so I must have a size 10 EE. ONLY NB makes athletic shoes in widths. I haven't worn ANY other athletic shoe since the 1960's.
These shoes seem to have a fairly high arch, more so than other new balance shoes I've worn.
I like the fit and breathability of these shoes. The tongue centering straps help the shoes feel firm on my feet. Vibram sole was the other main reason I bought them and it does not disappoint. I primarily bought these shoes for casual summer wear, but they have been great for casual jogging and soccer with my kids. Great buy!

I a big guy with wide, flat feet. After trying lots of different brands I've found that New Balance is the best option for me. One of the only brands that are wide enough to correctly fit my custom orthotics and they hold up well to lots of use.
