Decent, expected more for the price
Decent everyday sneaker. The comfort is solid but not groundbreaking. They look great with casual outfits. My main complaint is that the white ones get dirty extremely fast and are hard to clean. You'll need to invest in a good sneaker cleaner. Build quality is typical Nike - good but not premium luxury level.
The leather quality is impressive
I was hesitant about the price at first but after wearing them daily for a month, totally worth it. The cushioning hasn't compressed, the outsole shows minimal wear, and the leather has developed a nice patina. They're versatile enough for casual outings and weekend activities. The swoosh placement and proportions are just right - not too big, not too subtle.
Exactly what I expected
The color blocking on these is perfect. Photos don't do them justice. The materials feel premium - soft leather upper with a padded collar that doesn't dig into your ankle. The rubber outsole has good grip on both dry and slightly wet surfaces. I walk about 8,000 steps a day and these hold up comfortably. Definitely recommend going true to size.
Sizing is inconsistent
Got the Nike Air Max 1 Obsidian and they've exceeded expectations. I've bought two pairs in the same size and they fit differently. One pair is snug, the other has extra room in the toe box. Quality control seems to have slipped. The leather also started peeling at the flex points after about 6 weeks of daily wear. For the price, I expected much better durability. Disappointed.

That said, the comfort is excellent and they look stylish. Just be prepared to use shoe trees or crease protectors if you care about that. I'd also recommend getting a good leather protector spray.

Bought these Nike Air Max 1 Obsidian about a month ago. Finally got my hands on these and they exceeded expectations. The packaging was nice, the shoes smelled like fresh leather (in a good way), and the fit was perfect right away - no break-in period needed. The rubber cupsole provides good impact protection on concrete. My only minor gripe is the laces could be slightly longer, but that's an easy $2 fix. If you're between sizes, go with the larger one. These run a touch small. The colorway is so versatile. I've worn these with at least 10 different outfits.

My favorite pair of kicks
These are my go-to sneakers now. The cushioning is excellent for all-day wear - I work retail and on my feet for 8+ hours. The breathable upper keeps feet cool and the padded insole provides great arch support. Build quality is consistent with what I expect from Nike. They crease a bit after heavy wear but that's normal for any leather sneaker. Ordered my normal size, perfect fit right away. No break-in needed.

Nike nailed it with this one
Bought these Nike Air Max 1 Triple Black about a month ago. Picked these up for everyday rotation and they've become my most-worn pair. The design is timeless - you can dress them up or down. The midsole is firm but comfortable, providing good support without feeling mushy. After three months of regular wear, they're still holding up well. The outsole tread pattern grips well even on smooth tile floors. These go with literally everything - jeans, shorts, joggers, you name it.
