I switched to ASICS from Nike after 30+ years
After 30+ years of almost exclusively running with Nikes, I tried the Gel-Cumulus 17 G-TX. My main reason for doing so was that Nike did not have a Goretex option that appealed to me. When it came time to replace my 17, I went with the 18s. I was a little worried as they seemed slightly different in the picture. Plus, I was not sure about the consistency of ASICS fit. In all my years, with NIKE I never had to worry about sizing. Fortunately, the fit of the 18s was consistent with the 17s, and they are just a comfortable. I have run at least 50 miles on these, and they feel great!
