Nike nailed it with this one
Bought these Nike Air Max 1 Triple Black about a month ago. Picked these up for everyday rotation and they've become my most-worn pair. The design is timeless - you can dress them up or down. The midsole is firm but comfortable, providing good support without feeling mushy. After three months of regular wear, they're still holding up well. The outsole tread pattern grips well even on smooth tile floors. These go with literally everything - jeans, shorts, joggers, you name it.
The colorway is even better in person
Finally got my hands on these and they exceeded expectations. The packaging was nice, the shoes smelled like fresh leather (in a good way), and the fit was perfect right away - no break-in period needed. The rubber cupsole provides good impact protection on concrete. My only minor gripe is the laces could be slightly longer, but that's an easy $2 fix. TTS for me but my friend needed to go up half. Might depend on foot shape. The colorway is so versatile. I've worn these with at least 10 different outfits.
Good but creases easily
The shoes look great and fit well but the leather creases really easily, especially around the toe box. After just two weeks of normal wear, there are visible crease lines. That said, the comfort is excellent and they look stylish. Just be prepared to use shoe trees or crease protectors if you care about that. I'd also recommend getting a good leather protector spray. True to size - I ordered my regular size and they fit perfectly.

Nice shoes overall but they run about half a size narrow. I have slightly wide feet and had to go up half a size from my usual. Once I got the right size, they're comfortable and look great. The leather quality is good but not exceptional at this price point. The cushioning is firm but supportive for daily wear.
Great for daily wear
I was hesitant about the price at first but after wearing them daily for a month, totally worth it. The cushioning hasn't compressed, the outsole shows minimal wear, and the leather has developed a nice patina. They're versatile enough for casual outings and weekend activities. The swoosh placement and proportions are just right - not too big, not too subtle. Sizing is spot on. My usual size fits like a glove.
