Good for dance, but not for high impact moves
These works well for sliding my feet around in salsa/samba and funk moves during dance workouts in my carpeted area living room, but there is no shock absorbing cushion for higher impacts dance workouts that include high leaps, jumping jacks etc, so after while your legs start hurting. For the price, this was however a great purchase. I just need to invest a little more in a dance shoe to have it meet all my needs. I do recommend these for low impact dance.
Adidas Samba Classics
First off, as the name implies, these Adidas Sambas are classics. They've been around 40 years (probably more) and they still look fresh! In my shallowness, I bought them on looks alone for around-the-house/ casual-Friday's.They are a bit narrow, which is great for me. But they do lack a bit in arch/ball of the foot support. You'd think that if they're making these shoes for narrow-footed people, they would have better arch support because most people with narrow feet tend to have higher arches, right? If you have wide feet, you might want to avoid these.As for the extra-long tongue, I have to say that I kind of like it. It makes the shoes unique. But I think if you wore low-socks, the tongue might chafe you and look funny. Also, folding the tongue down looks kind of dumb as you can see part of the sizing tag.I found the sizing (10.5) to be pretty much right on, maybe a smidge bigger than my other Adidas. Overall though, for the price (I found mine on sale for $30!), I thought they were are a great deal! I really like these Samba Classics. They look fantastic and fit good for a casual shoe. I just wish they had a bit more support (like the Samba Millenium's do), then they'd be perfect.
Very Awesome Indoor Soccer Sneaker
Though I do not play soccer (indoor or out), I've always wanted a pair of these hot sneakers. As I sit here writing this review, (I am currently wearing them and remembering how they feel on my feet) - very good. I've always had a difficult and time-consuming time to locate the correct and truthful pair of sneakers without being too expensive. Samba Classic fits that profile and quite reasonably priced. Even though they take some time breaking in, even for a narrow-footed person as myself, they fit wonderfully. I would highly recommend these sneakers to not just the indoor turf player, but to anybody who wants a cool pair of sturdy, stylish, sexy, and vintage sneakers for everyday wear. Very Happy Customer!!!!
life changing socks
okay, so maybe not life changing, but they are indeed nice. they fit properly, snugly and comfortably. they come up to my mid calf if pulled up to maximum height. they look good with my black adidas sambas and adidas slides (yes i wear socks with slides, deal with it, it's comfortable). you'll enjoy these fine socks.
Oversize - What's the BIG Tongue for?
OK, I don't play soccer. Maybe that is why the big tongue? In time does it lay down over the front or stay up to keep out dirt? Must be padding for instep when you kick the ball? It did not work for me.Ordered my size (13) but I could slide my foot so far forward there was room for fingers behind my heel. Tried heavier socks. Made shoe too narrow and there was still 1.5 inches in front of my big toe even on the larger foot. One of my feet is larger which is why I order 13. Other is maybe 12 or 12.5, same medium (D) width.........at least it's not my ears, LOL.IF shoes were shorter, a proper 13, fit was excellent with light socks. Construction was above average. However even if I re-ordered 12s?? that tongue looks and feels dumb. So today I am sending them back.Incidentally I also received a pair of Samoas in 13 and they fit perfect even though they are also adidas. So the oversize is just in the Samba? Overall the shoe is well made. Ordered second pair of Samoas.
Awesome Shoes With Classic Look
These are one of my favorite shoes ever made!!! I have 4 pairs of Samba's but I didn't have the actual indoor soccer classic Samba's. They are a great shoe for work or just as an everyday sneaker and they last forever!!! The classics do have a difference then the other Samba's the tongue of the shoe is extra long like on a soccer cleat, it doesn't bother me I like the look but some people may think its a little weird. They are a little stiff until you break them in, but after that they are super comfortable!!!
Love Sambas
Our family loves Adidas Sambas! These shoes are made superbly, take a beating, and fit great. We all have a pair (or two), and play hard in them. If you're looking for a toddler/child shoe that will hold up for more than 3 months, look no further.
Well-Balanced...
I seldom award five-stars period. When I do, the item is generally outstanding and this too is rarely said. I first purchased Asics sneakers about five years ago. From the moment I put them on, it was instantly comfortable. This pair was no different.The only thing I learned about this type of material, that is synthetics, is that depending on your foot size, you may have to go a half-size lower. I generally wear a size 9 for all leather sneakers; (Adidas Samba, Reebok Exofit Lo & Puma Speedcat), however, with this material, since it stretches easier, I had to round down to an 8.5. Twice I've had to do this, but it fit as expected. If you know your size accurately, then you can purchase via the internet, as did I.This sneaker is well-balanced for width, arch, heel support, toe box, tongue support, the laces are quite strong, and the length is decent.If you are a size 10 or above, then I don't know how you would measure that way, because I do not know if Asics makes this line that high. I would imagine they would, but it's best to find out if your size would be the exact same or still, a half size lower.Well worth the money. You won't be disappointed.
No Samba with this one.
This thong did not fit properly. It was not high enough for the comfort I was looking for. I usually have great results with Clarks...not this time. I was surprised.

I purchased the Clark cha cha last year and the latin samba must be this years style - they are very comfortable and love both styles - of course Amazon had the best price around!

Comfortable and well-made but tend to slip on laminate flooring
After wearing my Adidas 2G slides for 4.5 years, I decided it was time for a replacement. While I was generally happy with those slides, there was on irritating design flaw -- inadequate Velcro closure strength. This weakness appears to have been rectified with the latest generation, the Superstar 3G. When the previous shoes would occasionally tear open, it would lead to a rapid slip of the foot and painful kick into a wall or desk. It is nice to have this problem go away.Both generations of slides have been used entirely indoors and until recently, always on carpeting. It is surprising that the 2G slide soles exhibited significant wear on the soles within a few years of use. While only time will tell how durable the new version is, the soles are equally as soft. Oddly, and somewhat counterintuitive, both generations exhibit poor traction on new laminate flooring. The problem is dramatically worse with the slightest amount of dust. The problem partially lies with the floor material but the slipping isn't nearly as bad with traditional cross trainers or even dress shoes.Overall, the Adidas 3G slides are well-made and comfortable. The Velcro flap accommodates wide feet and remains firmly attached, which is a welcome improvement.ProsImproved Velcro closure strength (vs. 2G)Comfortable paddingSolid overall constructionConsPoor traction on laminate flooring
Speechless
Simply incredible. I've been running on the treadmill with my Superstar II's and experiencing immense bunion and foot pain from the lack of absorption. These shoes completely changed running for me. The support, bounceback and lack of pain is incredible and definitely noticeable. I feel more stable running at higher speeds and my feet don't hurt nearly as much.Highly recommend the Nimbus 14's.
Like Summer Performance Tires
I got the Black with White stripes & gray toe.So, the packaging was great. I was really impressed that extra laces were included. They arrived quickly and it didn't feel like "another cheap box."They fit perfectly the first time I put them on. This is really an oddity to me because of my slightly different sized feet (half size difference) and because of previous experiences with many other types of shoes. I wore Adidas Superstars for years (nearly a decade) and wanted to try something else. I have a pair of Vibram FiveFingers Trek LS as well and wanted something more "normal" looking.These have already received numerous compliments by people I know.They're great for driving as well. Good pedal feel, roomy toe box, just enough flexibility.I have two complaints:1) Minor - I wish they had a little more to them. Just a thin layer of padding inside and on the tongue. Also, the holes you see that are gray in the picture? Yeah they go straight to your sock/foot, they are open.2) Do not wear them when it's wet outside or if there's a chance of rain. You will slip. They have absolutely no grip on a wet surface. Great grip inside or on a dry surface though.3) Also a little peeved it went on sale within a week after I got them.
Hours of superstar entertainment for your budding singer
My 18 month old grandson loves this toy as do his two older sisters. They all love music, singing and dancing, and this toy has given them hours of pleasure as they listen and sing along to some of their favorites like "Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes." Plus included in the box are the lyrics to the songs just in case, as an adult, you don't know them! You'll be singing "If You're Happy and You Know it" with embarrassing frequency as it tends to stay in your head just like when the song came out!The kids are able to record their own songs as well as sing to the five included prerecorded ones. The mirror is fun for the baby to laugh and giggle at himself as he watches the girls dance around the room singing in the microphone.A plus for parents or adults is that the toy is easy to put together! The four legs snap into the base and are held there with a screw. No complicated diagrams or instructions.If your child loves music, this is a great durable toy that can provide hours of fun and will hold up under toddler play!

My son calls them turtle toe Lmao.The shoes are true adidas . I love superstars the fit on my adult shoes have to be the same . Very solid comfortable shoe . I would recommend.

Best Fitting Hat
I have a small head so it's difficult to find hats that fit me and look good on me. This hat is amazing. It has a draw string on the inside so I can cinch it to fit my head perfectly. The brim is moldable so I can wear it up or down. With my big white sunglasses, I feel like a superstar on the beach. Looking great and fitting well are not the only attributes of this hat. It is made from a thick canvas and well constructed. It doesn't feel or look cheap. I highly recommend it.
